When I was a young boy, my dad gave me old clocks from his work and encouraged me to play with Meccano and Lego to make spaceships and robots. This instilled a love of robots that I have to this day. I have built large scale kinetic and video installations such as ‘Bernie’ you see on the right as well as small-scale ‘Gizmobots’ that I sell through my online shop at www.gizmobots.co.uk

Being a trained electronics engineer allows me to re-appropriate old electronic equipment and give it a new life as part of a robot. Some of my Gizmobots therefore have functions such as being lights, I-Pod docks or radios.
